The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
